PENANG Health, Welfare and Caring Society Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh has claimed that a government officer from the National Unity and Integrity Department stopped a Rukun Tetangga (RT) member from inviting him to their function.
He said the RT member was told not to invite him to the function as he was from an opposition party.
“Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has said that politics should be left to politicians and if the government officer wants to play politics, he should join a political party,” he said.
